Laboratory Exercises in Environmental Geology

This is an introductory text which assumes little prior knowledge of mathematics or chemistry. There are colour photographs to accompany the rock and mineral exercises as well as the topographical and geologic mapping exercise. The exercise are all stand-alone and can be used in any order, and all have a range of problems at the end. New material includes water pollution, non-fuel mineral resources, and alternative energy sources.
