Sent through the prison and the mental health system, he eventually is sent to a private wellness center . At the wellness center he meets Bonnie [not her real name], she is assigned as his mentor. Bonnie is in a wheelchair. She is confined for killing her husband and slashing her husband’s lover in an attack that left her paralyzed after she went for a ride on the hood of her husband’s lover’s car.
