Tooth is a powerful and compelling tale of survival set in one of America’s last unblemished wildernesses, the five-hundred mile Alexander Archipelago of Southeastern Alaska’s coast. When Eric McCallister, a Cetacean linguist, finds himself thrust into the middle of an 11,000 year old blood feud after he survives an attack from a powerful predator of the seas and finds himself thrust between the sea’s top two apex predators. After millenniums of peaceful dominance, the Killer Whale population of Southeastern Alaska finds itself under attack from an ancient enemy. Eric tries to piece together the events of his attack and to track the creature down responsible for the carnage. His only clue a tooth that cannot possibly exist.
