Superheroes

Superhero stories in comic books and movies have been around for more than 75 years. Superhero stories themselves, though, have been around much, much longer. From the Greek myths about demigods and the Bible’s own Samson, stories about super-powered heroes have always been a part of human culture. With plenty of action for students and help for teachers, these six lessons help us consider some of the superheroes of comic books, TV, and cinema, and explore what we can learn from them to be better disciples. Lessons are from the perspective of the Reformed tradition.
