The Elder Chronicles New Breed

Mary Gauss buys a lottery ticket with the numbers provided by Enela and was the sole winner of a multi-million dollar jackpot. She subsequently moves to Albuquerque, New Mexico and studies nursing. When her daughter, Joanne Elena (aka Jo E.), is 10 years old Mary suggests that she attend the Rockin-R’s dude ranch for the summer. Joanne is not eager, but eventually agrees. All goes well until the ranch hands take a trip to Wakulla on horseback. On the way to Wakulla, Joanne experiences some pains and fears she is having her first menstrual period. When she arrives in Wakulla, she collapses in pain. Little Dove, who has stopped in town on her way home from work, takes charge. Red Hawk and Billy Eagle intervene. When Joanne disappears, the owner of the Rockin-R calls in the FBI.
