The Long and Winding Road

In the late 1960s, Tom Moore is a teenager facing his future, ready to navigate the course of his adult life, making decisions about college, career and marriage. But as a product of the Woodstock generation, he confronts one large obstacle destined to alter any plan he might come up with: Vietnam. His relationship with the girl he dreams of marrying could become another casualty of the war. Should he avoid the draft? Should he go to Vietnam if called? Should he run off to Canada and simply forge his own path? Cultural influences, from the Beats to the Beatles, from a moon shot to Woodstock, push and pull him in many directions, though all he ever had in mind was one simple dream. Despite our best laid plans, the road ahead is likely to be full of unseen twists and turns. How Tom handles the curves on his long and winding road of life will determine his ultimate destination.
