The McIntyre Saga: Quest for the Librarian

It finally happened. A super-virus that was created for use only in a worst case scenario has been released into the public. The small pox-like disease was unstoppable and raced through major population centers. Bodies were stacked like cordwood, all waiting for the cremation fires that dotted the landscape like a bad case of acne. Two hundred years later, 90% of the world’s population was gone. Without adequate care, most buildings and cities collapsed into massive piles of rubble and a medieval age has returned. Small pockets of survivors struggle to live in difficult conditions in North West America. But there is hope. Rumors persist of a library and a Librarian who have preserved essential elements of modern culture. The McIntyre family believe the rumors to be fact and begin a journey to not only find the Librarian but also to re-establish a foundation for restoring and recovering that which was lost. Young Cooper Wellsley McIntyre has a photographic memory and it is hoped he will take the lead in the saga. Even with his unforgettable memory, Coop is unsure.
