Words In A Row: Book One is the first in a series of poetry volumes to be published by D. L. McClung, featuring his early poems written mostly during his teenage years and early adulthood. His poems speak of love, war, death, loneliness, despair, and the human condition in general. However, his poems are not lacking in humor and wit, nor are they all dark and dreary.
