Evening Son

The Bois Brule River in Northern Wisconsin is known as the River of Presidents. Five U.S. presidents and other notables have paddled and fished this pristine trout stream over many years.

When world-famous photographer, Clay Arnold, introduces his nine-year-old son, Bodie, to the excitement of fly fishing on the Brule, little did they know that they’d meet Jake Horvath, the sixth American president to grace this special part of the world. Nor did anyone suspect that Russian agents would also appear on the Brule near the presidential compound at Cedar Island and push the world to the brink of global conflagration.

Evening Son is the fourth story in the Clay Arnold series. It’s an intriguing tale of a father and son’s strong devotion in the face of terrifying conflict, and the enduring bonds between former comrades-in-arms.
