In the first book in the series, ‘Buckley the Kilcoy Yowie’, we met Buckley, the innocent and loveable Dreamtime legend. Following the loss of Archie in the Great War, Buckley felt responsible for giving his family false hope that both sons would return unscathed from the War. He blamed himself for the family’s sadness and felt that the only solution was to go on a short ‘Walkabout’. In this second book we discover that time is but a blink of an eye to Yowies. Ninety years pass by before Buckley is finally re-united with his family and his town. He then sets about on a mission to put Kilcoy on the World map.
