Hermina Burns’ collection, Crossing a Line considers the difficulty, the necessity and the responsibility of loving country. At the heart of this collection, her third, is a woman’s relationship with the landscape she inhabits, the landscape of her birth country. Crossing a Line explores experiences that are sometimes shocking, confronting and difficult to ptocess but which demand attention.
