'Can I stay here?' tells the story of Sophie, a goat looking for a new home. Upon finding a field filled with Buffalo, she soon discovers that because she is different, she simply isn't welcome. That is, until young Alex offers to share his grass, shade, and friendship with her.

They soon become the best of friends until something terrible happens in the field and Sophie is blamed and sent back to where she came from. Gordon and the other buffalo soon realise they've made a huge mistake and embark on an epic journey to find her again. 'Can I stay here?' teaches all of us the power of equality, love, empathy and understanding, as we learn that no matter who we are, or where we are from, we are all equal.
