Listening to Land is a collaborative project which recognises the creative arts as a powerful contribution to environmental activism. Each poem and artwork surrenders ideas of humanness to express a deeper kinship with Nature.

Revealing shades of immense beauty and resilience amidst sorrowful tragedy in the Land. They join together to tell their story. Follow this poetic journey into a more than human world with our friends and kin: Animals, Plants, Rivers, Mountains, and Nature Spirits.

This book is directly inspired by the proposed raising of the Warragamba Dam meaning a further loss of invaluable ecological communities and Aboriginal heritage. We as a local human community choose to respond with creativity to show our strong connection to place.

This book is a fundraiser to support direct action related to this campaign.
