The Intrepid Wheelies

The author, Maria Dalmon, and her husband, Lindsay, have cerebral palsy. In the past they both had jobs, they could both walk, Lindsay could drive a car, and they lived a relatively normal life. As they have aged, their mobility has decreased and now they both have wheelchairs and carers. However, this has not stopped them from enjoying life. This book, "The Intrepid Wheelies", describes their many adventures and travels, including participating in international sailing competitions, and travelling to many different countries, including Great Britain, France, Alaska, Hawaii and New Zealand, by air and sea.
