Stories from the Other Side - Ascolta Women Write

Stories from the Other Side (2025) is the current anthology from Ascolta Women Inc, a writing collective that gives voice to women from the Italian diaspora. This edition contains stories, poems and artworks that navigates time, memory, loss, grief, transformation, and hope, revealing the many dimensions of women’s experiences. This anthology brings to full circle the initial publication Stories from the Inside (2021) to explore themes relating to the other side of life, of ourselves, our memories, our history and our sense of evolving selves.

Founded in 2020, Ascolta Women Inc was established to give voice – to listen, ascoltare – to the untold stories of women from the Italian diaspora. Ascolta Women Inc is steadily growing its presence in Melbourne’s literary landscape and across Australia.
