C.L. Williams grew up on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia and lived with a number of disabilities, including Autism. She is an accomplished academic with post-graduate degrees from several universities in areas such as animal behaviour, environmental management, ornithology, herpetology, education, and maritime policy. She is a qualified and experienced environmental assessor, animal scientist, zookeeper, veterinary nurse, feline behaviourist, dog trainer, animal foster carer and author. She currently works with Assistance Animals and Conservation Dogs through her business CLW Consulting whilst also undertaking her PhD.
