The Longest Road follows the story of a young single father Broady’s journey to locate and protect his daughter, before travelling across the harsh Australian outback to find his dear friend and neighbour.

After a seemingly normal day, a thunderous explosion rips through a nearby service station, leaving Broady and his friend and neighbour Allison stunned, trapped inside their local shopping centre. What follows is a rapid breakdown in societal constructs, as terrifying creatures with bright yellow eyes from an unknown origin begin to quickly tear apart anyone they come into contact with.

After locating his daughter Charlotte, their true journey begins, battling through the daylight as desperate and hostile survivors more primitive side emerges. By night, pursued by the monstrous creatures leaving little time for rest. Amongst the madness, our unlikely hero battles for his own sanity, having been plagued by vivid emotionally charged dreams, blackouts and strange visions.

The story also encompasses Broady’s role as a father along their journey. His daughter Charlotte, being far too young to understand, Broady attempts to shield her from the physical and mental anguish of their current circumstances, playing the whole trip as one big adventure.

Can he unravel the mystery behind the origin of the creatures? Or,

Do his dreams and vision hold the clues to a path to safety?
