In Light and Shadow: a selection of our best poems

The creation of yet another poetry book for public reading is an act of incalculable idiocy. A book of poetry created by two people, shoulder to shoulder tied page by page, is nothing short of miraculous. Arising from the Tucson Poetry Workshop led by its passionate and irreverent mentor, Will Inman, the poetry of Charly and Elizabeth Wood flourished, and together they launched upon a literary and personal journey of many enriching adventures and exchanges with the most extraordinary of people. One result was the production of ERETE’S BLOOM, a small press literary magazine (2000-2005) featuring the works of notable and unknown poets of fine art and craft. Here, ERETE’S BLOOM rises yet again from the mud of life to offer some of the best poetry by Charly and Elizabeth Wood.
