As it turns out Sammy is not the only one of his kind. In Sammy’s early years no one was quite sure what he was. The best they could come up with was some form of autism. His special talents were physical similar to the character Forrest Gump. He was much more physically advanced than kids his age and far behind them mentally. He was raised in the hills of West Virginia where he learned the ways of the hill people. His main mentors were his hilarious friend Shooter, Shooter’s dad and Mr. Fukedome. This unique training would come in handy later when he was in Vietnam where he becomes the infamous Jungle Killer. Here he meets the love of his life but runs afoul of the brilliant and sinister Major Bruce. The Major has him sentenced to life in the infamous Ward 54 at Walter Reed hospital. 38 years later Sammy, who has barely aged, is released thanks to some hard investigative work by Frank Brancum, the narrator of the story. Through much intrigue and infighting between government agencies, Sammy finds himself back in Vietnam where he is reunited with his lost love, Peachy, who seems as young as she was when last he saw her. Here Sammy finds out that he is the next generation in human evolution and that he is now able to communicate with Mother Earth (Gaia)…Think Avatar. An epic battle with the physically enhanced Major Bruce brings the story to a close, or does it?–Frank G Schafer.
