When you’re in the military, you can always count on one thing . Stuff happens! And, unless you’re actually in harm’s way, the stuff that happens is typically zany, unexpected, and ultimately funny. I know that’s the way it was for me. While there was the real Vietnam War a few thousand miles west, I was stationed on Oahu, and those two years provided me with a whole lot of Waikiki Beach-time and humorous story-telling material.
