The Crescent in Light of the Cross

If anything is clear about the history of the Middle East, it is that the region is desperately in need of the Gospel. Once home to various Christian groups, the region’s Christians now represent less than 5% of the population after two genocides committed against them since the beginning of the 20th century. Yet, how do we re-evangelize a region whose leaders forbid preaching the Good News of the Lord Jesus? The Crescent in Light of the Cross lays the groundwork for a simple method of inviting our Muslim brothers and sisters to encounter the Lord Jesus by arguing for the historical truth of Christianity and highlighting the love of God found in his Church. At a time when many Muslims are moving to the West, we have a unique opportunity to preach the Gospel and share God’s love, so they too might seek to bring about the Kingdom of God on earth.
