A spiritual seeker from the beginning, Gary German was led by the soul from the rich spirituality of farm life to minister with people of various cultures in a variety of settings. His friendships with medicine men and other spiritual tenants of the soul brought him to consciousness and transformative studies, and the study of theology, spirituality, mythology, philosophy, and depth psychology. As a student of theology Gary was drawn to experience life with the Lakota Sioux in South Dakota. Experiences with Indigenous Americans altered his world view. Gary has ministered in areas of Diversity; with Latino American populations, and with Native Americans. He studied 13 different religions and their accompanying cultures resulting in a doctoral degree; Mythological Studies, Emphasis Depth Psychology. As a hospice chaplain he meets with patients and their families, facilitates groups for the bereaved, and offers pastoral counseling to nurses and families impacted by COVID-19.
