This alphabet picture book uses the same letter at the beginning of each word for that particular letter. The sentences represents the sound component for each letter of the alphabet it correlates to. The repetitive letter sound is for increased retainment. The sentence displays words using all the sounds that same letters can make like the vowel sounds The correlating picture tells a story within the structure, that only a one picture image tells. The animals in the picture pages take on human behavior interacting with one another in silly scenarios bringing a snapshot moment in highlighted motion. This is author/illustrator, Kristin Montgomery Small’s second book; her first being, Tree’s Adventure Making New Friends, which was well-received.
