This is fictional story based on true accounts. Upon the dawn of WWII, the unfortunate fate of many young children placed them in an Italian orphanage. These children found themselves in a depressed environment with lack of parental love or proper aliment or essential needs. Without the proper guidance or care, three young boys manage to escape the orphanage on their own. After a close encounter with death, they are miraculously taken in by an elderly couple who lived on a farm in the mountains of central Italy. The benevolent couple graciously provide the boys with a new worldly encounter, one of kindness and love. And compassionately they raise them into young adulthood. Two of the boys, George and Marco, develop a desire to travel to America. Marco finds further aspiration…to explore the world and all that it had to offer. His adventures teach him of the facts of existence and the weaknesses of humanity. And ultimately, to a place where he finds inspiration.
