It Was Until It Wasn’t (The Reason I Haven’t Responded)

I never intended on writing a book, but life had other plans. There was a time when I needed to express my feelings, and couldn’t, and the only reason was because the person I needed to express them to, couldn’t handle it. Not being able to actually speak to the person directly in front you hurts. In moments of need, wanting to express emotions, and let go with what’s holding you back, or what’s holding on to you and you’re simply not able to. That’s how this book came to life. Have you ever needed to express your emotions and get stopped completely in your tracks? Have you ever loved someone with the full intent on cherishing them? Has someone ever made you realize this isn’t it? It Was Until It Wasn’t (The Reason I Haven’t Responded) is a collection of poetry and depictions based on heartbreak, love, and raw emotions. Each poem is staple in time. Ride on this emotional rollercoaster extending almost 3 years, based on a relationship that started in the fall of 2015 and ended summer of 2018.
