Six months after returning from her misadventures in Montana, life has returned to normal for Parole Agent Rose O'Brien. Until two friends are murdered, her home explodes, and she discovers her father, Teddy, has been kidnapped, all before noon.

Rose soon learns she is the intended target for murder, and her family is in danger from the same ruthless people who took Teddy. Rose flees to an off the grid, fortified cabin in Lake Tahoe, while her sisters do the same in Florida. But the safe houses are breached.

Assumed dead, Rose determines to lie low. But when she’s ambushed and gets in a shoot-out, Teddy’s captors realize she’s alive. Now it’s game on since she holds damaging information on prominent and perilous individuals.

Rose’s Grandma Lil, a CIA retiree, discovers her family’s been compromised and goes to extreme measures. She sends a team of covert operatives to extract Teddy. But a mole is among them.

As the team races to rescue Teddy, the vengeful traitor is one step ahead and snatches Rose.
