What does a 32 year old successful mystery/suspense writer do when she’s at the top of her game? She leaves Los Angeles and buys a house in her hometown, of course. Aubrey Slojankonkowski, aka A.J. Sloan has been writing best sellers for years, but now, when everyone wants a piece of her, or at least her fame, she wants solitude. Moving home to Burlington, Wisconsin is the perfect solution, or is it? She finds the perfect house, but it hides a secret, a secret that Aubrey discovers, she must solve.
