The Spectrum of Psychiatric Research

A selection of the editorials which have appeared over the past ten years in the journal Psychological Medicine are collected in this book. The selection has been made to illustrate the various ways in which scientific research is being applied to mental disease and the 39 editorials are grouped under a variety of headings: neurosciences, genetics, psychopharmacology, psychology, epidemiology and general psychopathology. The volume as a whole will interest and inform graduate students, practitioners and research workers concerned with psychological medicine and related disciplines.
