Evanne, a half-Vhemin bard with a tune for trouble and a heart for heroism, never expected to inherit a relic from before the world fell. Gifted an ancient suit of armor by a spectral warrior, she believes it holds the key to restoring justice in a land teetering on the edge of chaos.

But the armor is more than a relic. It's a challenge from the past, a summons that calls her across the blasted plaguelands to a place of myth-the lost fairy sky city. Her mission: restore the armor, and tip the balance in their favor. The catch? She'll have to slay a vampire older than history, a creature that has outlasted empires and for whom time has no meaning.

Evanne's journey is haunted-not just by ghosts, but by the fear of what she might become. The necromancer's path is paved with the souls of the unrestful dead, and even her closest ally, the warrior fairy Tarragon, fears for her soul.
