Shakespeare, Theory and Performance

This collection of essays brings a range of contemporary critical perspectives to bear upon the practical questions of performing Shakespeare. It offers an overview of the productive interplay between cultural materialism, theatre semiotics, feminism, deconstruction and performance criticism.
