Current Hypotheses and Research Milestones in Alzheimer’s Disease

Almost four decades of innovative and intensive research on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) have brought major advances in our understanding of its pathogenesis, improved tools for diagnosis, and strategies for its treatment.
