This interdisciplinary volume brings together current issues in and approaches to the development, utilization, and management of water resources in developing countries. The contributors, who have had extensive research and work experience in such countries, analyze these irrigation issues in the context of past experience and offer possible future strategies to help bridge the gap between potential and reality in Third World agriculture.
