Rob is called to a VA hospital where he finally meets Jess, a man he has known all his life. Near death, Jess wants to tell Rob "the rest of the story." His tale takes Rob to a Virginia Chesapeake Bay town in 1931, to very dear family and friends he did not know existed. He hears a saga that opens with the sweet charm of an old Disney movie, then grows tense, becomes frightful, and ends in tragedy.
