The Desert Falcons is an exciting historical fiction novel about two young men (George Davis and Ronald Logan) that trained to be pilots in the Royal Air Force at Falcon Field in Mesa Arizona during World War II. George and Ronald graduated from different classes but became prisoners of war in the same Japanese camp. Their lives are connected for survival and apply the lessons and knowledge they received while at Falcon Field and the harsh conditions of Arizona of the 1940's. The Desert Falcons captures the life and times of the local citizens of Mesa Arizona and how Falcon Airfield being converted to train pilots and the impact to the community. The story honors the 23 British and American military men that perished in training from 1941 to 1945. These Novel honors those that gave the ultimate sacrifice and helped preserve freedom in a world being dominated by the forces of evil.
