If we are being completely honest with ourselves, we tend to get very repetitive & uncreative in our daily prayers. We might thank the Lord for the day, and then ask him for a few things from off of our "needs" list. Maybe we throw out a prayer for our wife & kids, and maybe on a really "spiritual" day, we even pray for the poor and needy! But it seems that our prayers never get much deeper than that, and deep down inside we convince ourselves that praying "with all of our being" is just meant for those "spiritual" or "fanatical" Christians. So, we just keep going on, day by day, with our heartless, religious prayers. So, we ask ourselves: What's the solution? What if I'm just not that creative? I've never been good with putting words together, how do I know what & how to pray? How do I keep thinking of new things to say to God?
