A family is preparing to go to church. Each of the three characters is answering questions from a little girl, unseen and unheard by the audience. The first is the mother, who is asked about what is meant by Holy Week and Palm Sunday. She doesn’t want to be bothered with complex spiritual questions for which she obviously doesn’t have good answers even though she claims to believe. The next is ditzy Aunt Eunice, who confusedly wraps together Easter, Christmas, the Three Bears, and the Tooth Fairy! Then comes cynical Uncle Walter, who confesses the whole resurrection thing is probably made-up, a good story that more educated people - like him - smile at but don’t really believe. The little girl - and the audience - are left with more questions than answers about the meaning of Holy Week. Topics include: Holy Week, Palm Sunday, Easter, The Resurrection. Characters are: 1 Male, 2 Females. Participants are: 3. The author is Judson Poling.
