Can’t Live without ‘em

This is a sweeping look at the various relationships that affect us throughout life. An on-stage narrator and actors recreate scenes from childhood, high school, college, and marriage that illustrate in a comic way the many frustrations of living with imperfect people. Clothes, brains, beauty, neatness, even store-bought rather-than-home-made cakes all affect whether we’re accepted or rejected. The difficulty of loving others unconditionally is contrasted with words from the Sermon on the Mount (and other passages) that show Christianity’s striking and challenging counter cultural stance. The topics are: Relationships, and Unconditional Love. The characters are: 2 males, and 2 females. The participants are 4 and the author is Donna Lagerquist.
