In April 2025, the Board on Behavioral, Cognitive, and Sensory Sciences of the National Academies of Sciences Engineering, and Medicine convened a workshop to explore best practices for implementation and evaluation of suicide prevention grants programs. Presenters and participants discussed non-clinical community-based programs intended to mitigate the impacts of social determinants of health on suicide risk.
