Joseph Rosse (1892-1951) est le plus eminent homme public que l'Alsace ait connu dans la premiere moitie du XXe siecle. Lourdement condamne en 1947 dans un proces de l'Epuration, il sort aujourd'hui de la damnation memorielle dans laquelle il a alors ete enferme. En effet, soixante dix ans apres, un Cercle Joseph Rosse a ete cree en vue de le faire connaitre aux jeunes generatins. Ainsi, le 28 octobre 2017, s'est tenu a Colmar un colloque binational reunissant historiens et juristes franco-allemands pour etudier la levee definitive de l'interdiction de memoire frappant ce grand Alsacien. Le present opus rassemble les differentes interventions presentees durant cette Journee.
