This not very ambitious little essay was initially written in German under the title: 'Das Messianische Wesen' and then translated into English by the author. It is written for those who have been touched by god in a way they cannot readily recognise as fitting in with what is commonly meant by religion or even by Christianity as a religion among other religions. It is the author's belief that in our day too, in countries the world over, god reveals himself to some human beings in such a total fashion that with the help of no organisation on earth but solely from within their own individual and unique human nature can they understand what kind of work is spiritually requested of them and, which amounts to the same, what will authenticate them as genuine human beings that have eternal life.
