Criminal Circumstance: A Dynamic Multi-Contextual Criminal Opportunity Theory

An alternative theory of criminal opportunity is proposed in this book. The authors’ starting point is the recognition that both individual and environmental factors across time impact upon criminal acts. They then examine and develop the theory of criminal opportunity by addressing focal areas involving theory, methodology, empirical research and policy.
