Adrian’s Introduction is one of the few surviving introductions to the Bible from early Christianity. It provides today’s readers with a glimpse into how the Bible was approached by early Christians. It also alerts us to the sorts of issues that concerned teachers like Adrian–in his case, the main worry was the way in which the Bible portrayed God in human form. Peter W.
