Telematics in Education: Trends and Issues

This volume focuses upon the educational, pedagogical and human aspects of the uses of telecommunications. Discussion ranges from debates about whether this new form of teaching and learning can replace existing methods or whether they might exist side by side to enhance understanding, to how far collaborative learning can take place through telematics. Further discussion is envisaged on how the relationship between society and education may be radically altered and what the implications for psychological and organizational issues might be.
