I saw Red Priest live almost ten years ago and I have never forgotten them. This new recording has reminded me that they truly are some of the most amazing musicians I have ever heard.
This is recorder playing unlike anything you have ever heard before! The virtuosity, exuberance and obvious enjoyment of their music will capture your heart from the very first track. Featuring works from their idol Vivaldi (hence the name, Red Priest), as well as Tartini, Couperin and Simonetti, you will be astounded by the realisation that these arrangements are almost all done by members of the group.
