Based on the Warner Bros. film written by the acclaimed, Oscar-nominated screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Big Chill, The Empire Strikes Back), with a book by Oscar-winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman), this extraordinary production of THE BODYGUARD, starring PAULINI as Rachel Marron, is coming to Australia. The multi-million dollar musical, based on the 1992 film of the same name starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, will undertake an Australian tour starring PAULINI as Rachel Marron, from mid-April 2017. The show includes a host of Whitney Houston’s greatest hits including ‘Queen of the Night’, ‘One Moment in Time’, ‘Saving All My Love’, ‘Greatest Love Of All’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and one of the greatest hit songs of all time – ‘I Will Always Love You’. The Bodyguard had its world premiere at London’s Adelphi Theatre on November 6 2012, running for almost two years. Subsequent productions have since opened in Germany and the Netherlands as well as a successful UK tour, West End revival and an upcoming US tour.
