Passion Pit are without a doubt, the ‘buzz band’ of 2009. After amazing live shows at this years’ SXSW, they are being TOUTED as THE band to watch this year. Passion Pit, who hail from Boston in the US, are the brainchild of Michael Angelakos. Angelakos’ critical acclaim started after the release of the brilliant ‘Chunk Of Change EP’ which he wrote and recorded as a belated valentine’s gift for his girlfriend.There are 4 other members of the band, a drummer, bassist and 2 additional keyboard players.
