After building a solid fanbase and critical acclaim with their\nfirst two albums, “Sunset Studies” (2000) and “Strange Bird”\n(2002), success came in a big way for Augie March with their third\nalbum “Moo, You Bloody Choir” (2006) which won the 2007 Australian\nMusic Prize (AMP), was nominated for 7 ARIA awards and achieved\nplatinum sales. The single “One Crowded Hour” took out the coveted\ntop spot on Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown in January 2007 and\nsinger / songwriter Glenn Richards then won two APRA awards –\nBreakthrough Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year. “Watch Me\nDisappear” was recorded at Neil Finn’s Roundhead studios in New\nZealand and was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My\nMorning Jacket, The Shins).
