Whats Loreena McKennitt been doing since her last studio\nrecording back in 1997? The constant traveller, reader of history\nand spiritual traditions has been collecting a few more musical\ncollaborators to develop her dramatic fusion of Celtic and Eastern\nworld music. With the help of a bunch of Greek musicians (bouzouki,\nlyre), an Armenian oud player and Krotala percussion ensemble plus\nher usual crack band of musicians, McKennitt is hoping to raise\nawareness of our collective past through music. An Ancient\nMuse wont disappoint her legion of fans, particularly those who\nenjoyed the sound of Mask and the Mirror and Book of\nSecrets.
