It’s good to see a band that’s been on a great thing finally get back to it. This is the Breeders third album, and first in nine years. Three years in the making, the Deal sisters have finally put their demons aside to deliver their loose, spontaneous and deliberate (yes, all at once) brand of pop. With Steve Albini in the production chair the guitars, vocals and drums are as crisp as Japanese Haiku. The highlights are the rollicking ‘The She’_and simplistic _‘Forced To Drive’. It is quite simply divine.
