Hey, you – yes, you! Do you want Bill Hope to draw YOU?
We are counting down the days until the release of Andy Griffiths and Bill Hope's new book in the You & Me series, You & Me and the Peanut Butter Beast – coming out on Tuesday 19 August 2025!
We will be partying with Andy Griffiths himself on launch day at Cinema Nova! Find out about the event here. But until then, we thought we'd start celebrating early by running a drawing competition!
Draw your greatest adventure and you could win an A2 portrait of YOU, illustrated by the one and only Bill Hope! Plus other seriously epic and adventurous prizes!
How to enter:
1. download the entry form here or pick one up at any of our Readings shops
2. draw a picture of your greatest adventure (and fill out all the boring details on the form)
3. drop off your completed drawing and entry form in any of our shops or scan/take a photo of your masterpieces and send it to [email protected] with the subject line 'You & Me'
The judge: Bill Hope will look at all the incredible drawings and pick his absolute favourites!
The prizes:
1st prize – An A2 portrait of the winning child, illustrated by Bill Hope
2nd prize – A bespoke You & Me and the Peanut Butter Beast poster
3rd prize (5 winners) – 1 of 5 You & Me and the Peanut Butter Beast posters, signed by Andy Griffiths
4th prize (5 winners) – 1 of 5 copies of You & Me and the Peanut Butter Beast, signed by Andy Griffiths
T&Cs: Competition is open to children aged 6 to 12 in Australia. Not open to international entries. Entries close 31 August 2025. Winners will be notified by phone on 22 September 2025. Only the winners will be notified. Prizes will be posted to the winners. The 1st prize winner must provide a photo of themself for Bill Hope to reference. Full T&C's here.
